June 4, 2025: Kickoff Meeting for the RESILIENCE Project!


The RESILIENCE project (Robust Assessment of Solutions to Mitigate the Impacts of Climate Change on Eco-Cities) has officially launched. Led by Aix-Marseille University (AMU) under the scientific coordination of Barbara D'Anna (DR2 CNRS), this ambitious project will run for 60 months.

A Transdisciplinary Consortium

RESILIENCE brings together 8 research laboratories covering atmospheric chemistry, thermal physics, ecology, urban planning, and social sciences. The project is being conducted in close collaboration with the metropolitan areas of Marseille and Lille, as well as their local authorities.

The project aims to evaluate the effectiveness of various urban planning policies in improving residents’ quality of life, specifically by studying:
